This knob can be used to adjust your input signal between 0x and 2x*. 12 o'clock is unity gain.

SQUEEZE

A combination of threshold, ratio, and makeup gain. Compression increases as the knob is turned clockwise.  Max compression ratio is near ∞:1.

MAKEUP

Positive or negative offset added to the squeeze envelope.  12 o'clock is no offset.  This roughly translates to attenuation/amplification* at the compression stage.

BLEND

Controls the mix of dry to compressed signal at the output for NY style compression. At fully clockwise only the wet signal is present.

KEY

This input is also commonly referred to as sidechain.  Instead of the compression amount being linked to the input signal, you can compressed based on a different signal.  Full explanation of why this is awesome is beyond the scope of these instructions but I assure you it's awesome.  Note that when using a key input it's possible to hit wider dynamic swings than without, this is normal behavior but you will may want to turn down the makeup control to compensate.  Key input is AC coupled.

*Note: There are two stages of gain in this module. Expect distortion if you amplify the signal beyond normal eurorack levels.
